I’m always skeptical when the market moves this fast on a single news break. Today was a sharp move up but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a reversal tomorrow.

Volatility: Think of the VIX as the market's "anxiety meter." It measures how much turbulence investors expect over the next 30 days based on options. Usually, a VIX reading above 20 is where "calm" ends and "stress" begins, signaling that the pros are bracing for a wild ride. Today’s action was confusing. The S&P had a solid up day, but the VIX is just sitting above 20. That means the professionals do not believe in the strength of today’s rally.

META Layoffs: Meta is doubling down on its "Year of Efficiency" by cutting 700 roles this week, primarily in Reality Labs, HR , and Marketing divisions. This restructuring is a result of the company shifting capital toward AI infrastructure. Ultimately, this is a clear signal that META is betting on a future where smaller specialized teams do the work that once required thousands. 😳

SpaceX: SpaceX could finally be filing for an IPO as early as this week. There’s no better time than the present. The company might finally be ready to tap the public markets. If this goes through, it would easily be the most anticipated debut of the decade, shifting SpaceX from a private to a public titan. This would be a bet on the future of the orbital economy. My prediction is this will be the biggest IPO ever! 🚀

Meta & Google Liable: This ruling is a massive blow to Big Tech. By finding Meta and Google liable in this case, the court is saying these platforms are no longer just passive bulletin boards and they’re responsible for what their algorithms push. The era of immunity for Big Tech is officially over. 👩🏽‍⚖️
