I know the Dow is up 1,000 points due to potential “Iran de-escalation”, but I’m “IRAN’d" out. Let’s shift gears and talk about an actual company that has long-term legs.

Nvidia just dropped a $2 billion strategic investment in Marvell Technology, and this is a massive signal for the industry. Jensen Huang doesn't just hand out billion-dollar checks to anybody. Nvidia does strategic deals but rarely do you see them sink this much capital into a company that could be considered a competitor. This isn't just a partnership, it’s an endorsement of the entire AI stack.

The reality is that as GPUs get more powerful, the growth isn't the compute anymore, it’s the connectivity. In my Saturday LinkedIn write-up, I said Nvidia is the brain and Marvell is the neurological system (CONNECTIVITY), look it up. You can have the fastest brain in the world, but if the highways (networking) can't handle the traffic, you’re stuck. That is exactly where Marvell wins. By integrating Marvell’s networking and custom XPUs with Nvidia’s ecosystem, they are essentially building a unified AI "Superbrain."

We’ve spent the last 3 years consistently talking about the NVDA & AMD’s GPU chips, but I think we’re officially entering Marvell’s moment. Connectivity is the next frontier for the GPU revolution, and if Nvidia is willing to put $2B on the table to secure that future, you should probably be paying attention.
